Jackline has been marked!

Jackline has been marked she is the recipient of my recommended Hair Care Regimen, complete with Sap Moss Nourishing Concentrate, Sap Moss Shampoo & Conditioner, Brilliant Damage Control, Phomollient, Brilliant Anti- Humectant, Brilliant Emollient Gloss, & Brilliant Medium Hold Hair Spray.
Jackline asked.....
Q. What products (exactly) can I use to keep my hair hydrated for this winter?
A. I recommend Sap Moss Nourishing Concentrate it is a pre-shampoo treatment, Sap Moss Shampoo & Conditioner, which will nourish and restore health to your hair. The active ingredient is Iceland Moss which heals, protects and provides moisture, as well as the Sap will supply additional nutrients for the hair. What makes this collection unique is the Sap Moss Moisture Concentrate. It is used as a healing treatment prior to shampooing and helps to repair dry, damages hair, which will restore its smoothness and shine. The Sap Moss Shampoo is unique because not only does it cleanse the hair you find most of the nourishment and it is recommended to leave in a few minutes setting it apart from traditional shampoo. Sap Moss Conditioning Detangler eliminates frizz and retains moisture.
Q: I need something cheap for my tight budget. I want to be able to walk into target, Sally’s, or any hair care beauty supply and find that product.
A: Their are many products available just like most things, you get what you pay for. I want to empower you with the necessary information to shop responsibly. When shopping you’re looking for ingredients that support the benefits you need from the product. The first ingredient to the last is listed in order of concentration, so the ingredients should support the benefit. Because you said you need hydration the product Ingredient that supports moisture: http://www.sunsethair.com/ingredients.htm Product Ingredients to avoid: http://www.aubrey-organics.com/about/treat_10synth.cfm
Q . How often should I clip my ends?
A. Ends should be trimmed every 4 to six weeks!
Q. My hair grows to a certain length and then it seems like it stays there. What should I do to ensure that it continues to grow, while still being healthy? Do you have any tips?
A. Because you said your hair reaches a certain length then stops, I recommend drinking plenty of water and the required amounts of vitamins from animal sources, red, yellow, and orange fruits, green leafy vegetables, whole grains, eggs, seafood, nuts and yeast. These nutrients will provide the protein, B vitamins, iron, zinc, and biotin of the daily requirements of a healthy diet. Which will give you beautiful healthy, vibrant hair.

Ditch The LBD

Most females tell you to play it safe and buy a Little Black Dress. I'm here to tell you to be daring and not to look like the rest of the females at this year's parties. The holiday season is here, which means you will be invited to many festivities, whether it is a Christmas or a New Year's Party, go out with a bang. Don't be boring or dull by wearing the most common color, black. Differentiate your style by wearing bold colors and prints. I've selected several dresses that will make a crowd pause...view pictures>>

Winterize Your Skin: The Face

Winter is fast approaching and it is time to change our skin care routine to reflect the change in the weather. It is important to treat you skin according to what it is doing now. I have oily skin, however when the weather changes to cooler tempatures, I become dehydrated. So I still need to take care of the oily factor, as well as the lack of hydration. Putting together a daily regime is easy. Once you determined your skin type, be sure to use the following products: cleanser, treatment, moisturizer, eye cream and what I call a "binder". You must also remember to take care of the neck and décolletage as...read more>>

We're Thankful!

Thank you to everyone who visits our blog daily, thank you for spreading the word, sharing your thoughts and sending emails, we hope that you enjoy your Thanksgiving Holiday.

5 tips to help you stay Fab during Holiday Festivities:

1. Wear cloths that are slightly tight on you. This should help you feel full faster, and keep you from eating too much food.

2.Keep your portions small. Try to load up on salad and vegetables, and take just tiny amounts of anything else.

3. Don't let yourself get too hungry. If you go to a party and you're starving, everything will look even more tasty than normal.

4. Walking around the shopping mall and stores is great exercise, and so is cleaning the house. In addition to those activities, decorating can be quite intensive workout as well.

5. Allow yourself one small serving of a cookie or piece of candy at holiday events during the holiday season. Just remember to kick your workout up a notch later.

Happy Thanksgiving Beauties!

Must Have Trends

“Yeah, but its Ghetto Gold”! Carrie explained it best when describing the difference between gold and Ghetto Gold to Miranda. Ghetto gold such as Rope chains, Bamboo earrings and Name Plates keep coming back. My mother hates it and thinks its ghetto, but I love it. Whether it is in style or not, I will never abandon my ghetto gold jewelry. Usually it can be found in your local pawn shop, but for an expensive price. If you plan on participating in this obnoxious jewelry trend just for the season and do not want to spend a lot of money on the accessory, it can also be found in retail stores such as Forever21. Also, if you are in the City, local street vendors in Soho are always selling this golden trend...read more>>

Travel Fashion

Whether by plane, train or automobile, always make sure that not only are you dressed for comfort, but dressed for style. Comfort doesn't mean tacky! With todays' stylish jeans and simple tops, you can dress to impress without being uncomfortable. Not only that, many times you can be bumped up to first class (usually no charge) with the appropriate outifit (jeans withstanding) and a friendly smile. When traveling by car....read more>>

Packing 101

The plans have been made and now it is time to pack. This formula works for any trip, no matter the length. Use it to determine how many outfits you will truely need and to make the task of packing stress free.

Number of days of trip divided by 2 (for bottoms) x 1.5 (for tops) + 1 for (going out dress/skirt), an all weather jacket, 2 pairs of everyday shoes, 1 pair of stilettos, a handful of jewelry, 1 clutch, 1 everyday bag. Your travel day outfit can be the same for each day your on the road. Your math should look like this:

6 days of travel /2 = 3 bottoms x 2 = 4 to 5 tops + 1 going out dress/skirt, etc. etc. and of course, don't forget to pack your underwear, pajamas and hoisery.

Timeless... In Silver

Do you remember your pink Timex from first grade? Or did you have a Disney character flip watch that would work for a few days and conk out? What ever the kind, I'm sure you remember when you learned how to tell time on your first watch. My first watch was a Mickey Mouse watch, with a brown leather wrist band and gold dial. What's Hot

Mary Jane...No, I'm not talking about the 80's hit song with the subliminal message about getting high, but... the shoes. History always repeats itself and this season Mary Janes are back again. Miss Tish introduced us to the LegWork DVD, so it only seemed right to talk about heels. Thanks to the fabulous team at LegWork, they showed us how to walk correctly in a pair of heels. Now that we know how to walk properly in a pair of fabulous shoes, it's time to make a purchase of this season's hottest trend...Mary Janes. You ask, "What makes a Mary Jane shoe?" Usually, it's the buckled strap on the front of the shoe. Every designer is incorporating Mary Janes in their collection. They come in many designs such as patent leather, suede and animal prints. Love Addiction!

A guest came in Friday for her salon visit and began telling me about the affair she was having. We already know how damaging affairs can be, even if we don’t see it in the beginning. She is soooo in love, we all know that feeling! She went on and on about how in love she was, how they met this summer, how often they were involved, how she couldn’t see herself living without…… She said as she looked me in the eye, “I know I need to give this up, but I can’t!" I was very candid with her. I simply told her she needs to quit having this affair, it was affecting everything she had worked so hard to build. It was a hard sale, but she said she was going to do it. She was going to have an affair one last time, before saying goodbye. Because she came to me for advice I didn’t budge. I told her, "I know you are in love, I know everything looks good and it makes you happy, but enough is enough; let it go, just let it go!" Finally, she agreed to...read more>>
