Travel Fashion

Whether by plane, train or automobile, always make sure that not only are you dressed for comfort, but dressed for style. When I was younger, I remember when it was a requirement to be dressed in your Sunday best to travel by plane. These days, people show up in everything from inappropriate club wear to their pajamas. Comfort doesn't mean tacky! With todays' stylish jeans and simple tops, you can dress to impress without being uncomfortable. Packing 101

The plans have been made and now it is time to pack. This formula works for any trip, no matter the length. Use it to determine how many outfits you will truely need and to make the task of packing stress free.

Number of days of trip divided by 2 (for bottoms) x 1.5 (for tops) + 1 for (going out dress/skirt), an all weather jacket, 2 pairs of everyday shoes, 1 pair of stilettos, a handful of jewelry, 1 clutch, 1 everyday bag. Your travel day outfit can be the same for each day your on the road. Your math should look like this:

6 days of travel /2 = 3 bottoms x 2 = 4 to 5 tops + 1 going out dress/skirt, etc. etc. and of course, don't forget to pack your underwear, pajamas and hoisery.

Travel In Style

It's that time of the year again when we have to travel for the holidays. Whether you are going to visit family & friends or an untraditional vacation getaway, always make sure you do it in style. Every true fashionista should have fashionable chic luggage to compliment her unique self. You never know who you might meet while traveling in the airport, so make sure your luggage makes a statement. Don't be like the rest of the travelers carrying your valuables in the same old boring neutral-colored bags. See some of the latest designs in luggage by Diane Von Furstenburg, Kate Spade and other designers... more pictures>>>
